Kakuro Kakuro
How to play Kakuro
Kakuro is similar to both sudoku and traditional crossword games.
Like a Crossword
Similar to crosswords, Kakuro has clues both across and down. When you put numbers in the vacant squares, the sum must equal the given clues. This is why the game is sometimes called 'cross sums'.
Like a Sudoku
Just like a sudoku, you cannot have the same number in a row or column. If a row is broken into 2 areas by a clue, then you can have the same number occuring once in each of the separate areas.

Choose a number, and place it in the grid above.

Talk about anything and everything, but nice to each other - you don't have to agree, but this is not the place for personal attacks. As Sir Paul McCartney said: 'I used to think anyone doing anything weird was weird. Now I know that it is the people that call others weird that are weird' (longer explanation). Enjoy!
nobody is posting on this one yet, so it must be difficult. but it is nada.

Aspie I've put in all the possibilities and I don't know where to start. I may have to call this one too hard.

Wow that was difficult, as the name suggests

It was difficult - I don't see how anyone can do it as a 'nada'.

+p+o, nada is very impressive. Aspie, I'd love to see your logic if you can retrace your steps.

count the 6789s needed for 30D and 37D, either six or seven of them. then consider which ACROSS can supply them .....
13A gives either one 6 or one 7
35A and 29A give one 5 and three of 6789.
This makes four. You need either two or three more from 19A and 12A. I think this was enough to give info for those two ....

+p-o. Tried for nada and thought I could do it, but no go. 11A, 35A & 29A all have a 5. Figuring out where they go took me too long.

Aspie's approach is brilliant. Not sure I can learn to reason like that, but I'm going to try.
