Kakuro Kakuro
How to play Kakuro
Kakuro is similar to both sudoku and traditional crossword games.
Like a Crossword
Similar to crosswords, Kakuro has clues both across and down. When you put numbers in the vacant squares, the sum must equal the given clues. This is why the game is sometimes called 'cross sums'.
Like a Sudoku
Just like a sudoku, you cannot have the same number in a row or column. If a row is broken into 2 areas by a clue, then you can have the same number occuring once in each of the separate areas.

Talk about anything and everything, but nice to each other - you don't have to agree, but this is not the place for personal attacks. As Sir Paul McCartney said: 'I used to think anyone doing anything weird was weird. Now I know that it is the people that call others weird that are weird' (longer explanation). Enjoy!

Nada. Mental chain for 5 down determines 1 or 3 in E. Only one works. What Luca said.

Easy nada. This is just a SW30 variant, as Paul noted. The key to SW30's is that J or N must be 4 and M or Q must be 4, so I cannot be a 4. So 5D must be 32, not 14, as Luca says. The rest is easy. This is true, because in SW30's, the 3rd and 4th rows always need 4's, and the two long More...

nada, but a little trickier than the usual style we've all seen

Got nada following the tip of 4s in rows 3 and 4, but couldn’t understand why you couldn’t have a 4 in A or D

It is a variant on the SW30, but it is easy to see that the bottom two of each 21D must be 5 & 6 which allows completion of 30D. Then I can be solved, and the rest is a bit challenging but solvable nada.

Straightforward with orphans and a 3s cross. Or alternatively assume it follows SW30D pattern and assume there is only one answer.
