Kakuro Kakuro
How to play Kakuro
Kakuro is similar to both sudoku and traditional crossword games.
Like a Crossword
Similar to crosswords, Kakuro has clues both across and down. When you put numbers in the vacant squares, the sum must equal the given clues. This is why the game is sometimes called 'cross sums'.
Like a Sudoku
Just like a sudoku, you cannot have the same number in a row or column. If a row is broken into 2 areas by a clue, then you can have the same number occuring once in each of the separate areas.

Talk about anything and everything, but nice to each other - you don't have to agree, but this is not the place for personal attacks. As Sir Paul McCartney said: 'I used to think anyone doing anything weird was weird. Now I know that it is the people that call others weird that are weird' (longer explanation). Enjoy!
starts easily 3 cells, gets tricky until see it 12 cells, then what looks easy turns into very difficult (all nada so far).
with +o at this point it would be easy to finish, but .... there is a nada solution, although only for masochists, use +p, and with the aid if some additions and More...

Just curious, how long has everyone been doing these puzzles? When I started they had actual pictures. And UR Buddy was a regular. (along with Slartibartfast)

Fairly easy with possibilities and orphans.

As to the question posed by CharlesH, I think that I have been doing these puzzles for about 10 years. I remember the pictures, although the memory is fading.

Fairly easy with orphans. I got to the 12 cells nada but needed help from there.

I've been doing these puzzles for 8 or 9 years and I remember the pictures. Wonder where UR Buddy went. I remember him (her?) too.
