Kakuro Kakuro
How to play Kakuro
Kakuro is similar to both sudoku and traditional crossword games.
Like a Crossword
Similar to crosswords, Kakuro has clues both across and down. When you put numbers in the vacant squares, the sum must equal the given clues. This is why the game is sometimes called 'cross sums'.
Like a Sudoku
Just like a sudoku, you cannot have the same number in a row or column. If a row is broken into 2 areas by a clue, then you can have the same number occuring once in each of the separate areas.

Choose a number, and place it in the grid above.
  1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9
Talk about anything and everything, but nice to each other - you don't have to agree, but this is not the place for personal attacks. As Sir Paul McCartney said: 'I used to think anyone doing anything weird was weird. Now I know that it is the people that call others weird that are weird' (longer explanation). Enjoy!

Possibilities, orphans and a chain.

Used only orphans (don't know yet about nada):

1) Orphans determine A.

2) Fill in D.

3) Only possibilities for E are 6 and 8, so no 6 in C, so 6 in W.

4) Orphans force 5 in U.

5) 5 in H or I is impossible, since it forces 8 in E, 2 in B and then 2 in C. So More...

nada
D=7, W=6
if 10D!=64 then 3x forms in top two rows of 21D, 22D and there must then be a 1x in 6A and 5A,
which forces a 2x in bottom two of 21D and 22D,
which is impossible because 3D.
therefore 10D=64.

10D, last two cells can't be 23, 24 or 34, either by unique rule or by addition. Therefore U=5, there has to be a 5x in 21D and 22D, so C=5 and 6A=15 and so on easy then
