Kakuro Kakuro
How to play Kakuro
Kakuro is similar to both sudoku and traditional crossword games.
Like a Crossword
Similar to crosswords, Kakuro has clues both across and down. When you put numbers in the vacant squares, the sum must equal the given clues. This is why the game is sometimes called 'cross sums'.
Like a Sudoku
Just like a sudoku, you cannot have the same number in a row or column. If a row is broken into 2 areas by a clue, then you can have the same number occuring once in each of the separate areas.

Choose a number, and place it in the grid above.
  1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9
Talk about anything and everything, but nice to each other - you don't have to agree, but this is not the place for personal attacks. As Sir Paul McCartney said: 'I used to think anyone doing anything weird was weird. Now I know that it is the people that call others weird that are weird' (longer explanation). Enjoy!

I just realized it was nada because I put a number in because I read the total and number of spaces wrong, put a number in and it happened to be right and made everything else fall into place.

Going back to work it, I still think it is nada with one chain.

I think it’s nada too by eliminating what numbers can’t be used in cells got it out for me

how can it be nada with a chain? nada means
nothing .so nothing with!.. that doesn't
make a lot of sense.explaining a nothing
with something.sounds a lot like Trump!...

Calculated o and I guess it helped.

John - Agree with you about Trump, but I don't think a chain negates a nada. Nada, to me, means no orphans or possibilities. Every solution involves chains. 1+2=3 is a chain, just a short, obvious one. To me, nada also means no 'trial and error' by just inserting something to see if it works. Maybe that's what you mean by 'chain.'
